1.5 miles: The fire road to Mount Pacifico is usually in good condition, except a little loose/sandy in places and sometimes washed out after winter, but never too bad to ride

The fire road is a steady climb, and although exposed never too strenuous
3.1 miles: Turn off to Roundtop and Granite Mountain
Approaching turn off at 4.4 miles for final climb to campground
4.4 miles: Sign claims 1 mile to the campground - expect closer to 1.5

4.4 miles: View to the South - Mount Wilson is the summit seen furthest away

This was a fairly clear day, affording views as far as Orange County
